Get the admin off the desk.
A half-day working session that shows your consultants how to hand call notes, CV formatting, interview scheduling and client updates to the AI assistant you already pay for. They check every line. Nothing about a candidate is decided by a machine.
For recruitment agencies in London, Kent and the commuter belt.
Where the hours go
UK recruiters report 17.7 hours of admin for every vacancy, including about 3 hours writing up interview notes and 2.5 hours arranging interviews (People Management). Reformatting a CV takes 15 to 45 minutes a time (OnRec).
Most agencies already have an assistant through Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. Very few have a plan for using it on the desk. That is the gap the workshop closes.
What runs on a recruitment desk
The workshop puts the first four on every consultant's desk the next morning, with a prompt pack in your team's own voice. The rest are built after the audit, on your accounts, with a person approving each step.
Call notes to your CRM or ATS
A candidate call transcript becomes a note in your CRM or ATS headings: situation, motivation, salary, notice, availability and next action. Anything the candidate didn't say is listed for the consultant to check.
CV to your template
A messy CV goes into your own blank template, contact details removed for submission, the candidate's wording kept, and every change listed.
The scheduling chase
From an email thread to a candidate email offering the client's slots, a client confirmation and a two-line nudge for 24 hours later.
The Monday client report
A pipeline export becomes a short update in the consultant's voice, with every status and date matching the export.
Gone quiet
Every candidate and client ranked by how long since you spoke, across email, calls and the CRM. The opener is drafted from the record, the follow-ups are tracked in the same place, and nothing goes out until a person says so.
The quiet-client alert
Each client compared with its own normal pattern, not a company average. You hear the week it goes quiet, not the quarter.

The build
The chosen option, wired into your CRM and inbox, running on your own accounts, with a person approving each step. Fixed price, quoted in the audit.
The rules I work to
- A person approves everything the assistant writes before it reaches a candidate or client.
- No candidate is screened, ranked or rejected by AI. The ICO treats that as the highest-risk use in recruitment, and I don't teach it.
- We use the tools you already pay for. If you only have free or personal accounts, the day runs on made-up data and choosing a business plan goes into your policy.
- All the data on the day is synthetic. Nobody has to think about GDPR during the exercises.
- Anything I build runs on your accounts and your keys, and you own it.
Who you'd be working with
I'm Conor. I spent three years on an agency desk, then moved in-house as a Talent Partner, buying from agencies. After that I worked in software, where I ran AI training sessions for sales and customer success teams across several countries and built the tools above.
I know what a Monday on the desk looks like, and I know which AI promises survive contact with one.
