Half-day working session · 09:30 to 13:00 · at your office
Get the admin off the desk
A hands-on morning for recruitment teams of 5 to 30. Every consultant leaves with four workflows they can run the next day, your team signs off a one-page AI usage policy, and you get a baseline of where the hours go. A call at 30 days checks what stuck and what it saved.

The morning
| Time | Block | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| 09:30 | Open | The promise, the rules for the morning, and your team's own survey baseline on screen. |
| 09:45 | Where the hours go | Pen and paper. Each consultant maps last week, circles the admin and stars the three biggest jobs. The room's top three set the order of the lab. |
| 10:15 | Briefing an assistant properly | A live demo on your own tool: a lazy prompt against a proper brief, and how to catch the assistant inventing things. |
| 10:45 | Break | |
| 11:00 | The desk lab | Four stations in pairs, each with a prompt card, made-up material and a clear definition of done. |
| 12:15 | Rules of the road | Your draft AI usage policy, line by line, edited by the room with the owner present. |
| 12:35 | Commit | Each consultant picks one workflow to use every day for 30 days and notes today's minutes for it. |
| 12:55 | Close | What arrives in the next 48 hours, and the 30-day call booked before anyone leaves. |
The four lab stations
Call notes to the ATS
A candidate call transcript becomes a note in your ATS headings: situation, motivation, salary, notice, availability and next action. Anything the candidate didn't say is listed for the consultant to check.
CV to your template
A messy CV goes into your own blank template, contact details removed for submission, the candidate's wording kept, and every change listed.
The scheduling chase
From an email thread to a candidate email offering the client's slots, a client confirmation and a two-line nudge for 24 hours later.
The Monday client report
A pipeline export becomes a short update in the consultant's voice, with every status and date matching the export.
CV screening, candidate ranking and shortlisting are deliberately left out. The ICO treats AI screening as the highest-risk use in recruitment, needing a data protection impact assessment and real human review. We say so in the room.
What's included
Before
- A 20-minute call with the owner about your ATS, your tools and the result that would make the morning worth it.

- A tool check, so everyone works in a business plan on the day.
On the day
- The session, run on site.
- Printed prompt cards and the draft policy.
- A synthetic sample pack: CVs, a call transcript, a pipeline export and an email thread.
After
- Within 48 hours: prompt cards, the clean policy for sign-off, the room's tally and each consultant's committed workflow.
- A check-in at day 7.
- A 30-minute call at day 30 comparing minutes per task with the baseline.
Questions owners ask
Which AI tools do you work with?
Whatever you already pay for: Copilot in Microsoft 365, Gemini in Google Workspace, or a business plan of ChatGPT or Claude. If you only have free or personal accounts, we use made-up data on the day and choosing a business plan becomes an action in your policy.
Does any candidate data get used?
No. Every exercise uses a synthetic pack I bring. Your team uses their own data afterwards, inside the business tool your policy names.
Can it run remotely?
Yes, on Teams or Meet. The paper exercise works less well on a call, so on site is the default.
Which ATS do you support?
The workflows work with any ATS, because the output is text your consultants paste in. We shape the note headings to your ATS fields on the pre-work call.
Is the usage policy legal advice?
No. It's a practical one-page policy for your team. Your agency stays the data controller and owns its own GDPR position.
What happens after the 30 days?
If one workflow has stuck and you want it running properly, the next step is the workflow audit. If not, you keep everything from the day and there's nothing more to buy.
